About My Self. The purpose of this web site is to introduce as many people as possible to the fantastic opportunity and pleasure of Video Pre and Post Producing. A little about myself: I'm currently the vice president of a Video Club in Sydney South West. The name of our club is Southwest Video Club. We are meeting every second Wednesday of the month except for January. You can find the information of our club at swvc.org.au Our club is also a member of FAMM ( Federation of Australian Movie Makers.)We have around 45 to 50 members in our club. The main aim of our club is to nurture and support the making and editing of videos. What do we expect from our Video Camera? To be able to take good videos, of our children, grandchildren and naturally of that most important events our Holidays. So now that we have got our video tape what can we do with it, show it to our closest family members and soon to be our ex friends. Just imagine its your second day of your well overdue holiday, your sitting on the beach with your trusted camera, you look out to sea and witness the most memorable sunset. Naturally you pick up your camera and start filming. You are very proud of yourself, for that fantastic sunset you have just captured for prosperity. You continue with your holiday, and with your video taping. It is only when you get home that you realize that your fantastic sunset is in a totally wrong place in your film. It would really look fantastic at the end of your holiday video. Never fear help is at hand. Now that you have the raw material of video tape you can now edit into a blockbuster: All you need is a Video capture card and a editing program for your computer. Now there are many editing programs on the market today, from just on $100 to well over $3000. My Links.
